5:10 and he was designated ¹  by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek. ² 

Ibrani 11:2

11:2 For by it the people of old ³  received God’s commendation. ⁴

[5:10]  ² sn The phrase in the order of Melchizedek picks up the quotation from Ps 110:4 in Heb 5:6.

[11:2]  ⁴ tn Grk “were attested,” “received commendation”; and Heb 11:4-6 shows this to be from God.
